Hi [subscriber:firstname | default:friends],

One of the tragedies of our time is the inability to see the stars, especially the Milky Way. Perhaps you live somewhere with little light pollution and you see it every night. For most of us, that isn't the case. I was over thirty years old before I clearly saw that thick expanse of stars on a dark autumn night in New Hampshire. It is awe-inspiring and makes you keenly aware of the magnificence of our Creator.

The stars and the heavens are mentioned often in Scripture. For our ancestors, they would have been obvious examples since people saw them clearly each night. For us today, those passages are less impactful than they should be. Instead, we must look for God at work in His creation in other places that are readily available to us.

In fact, I would say if you aren't keenly observing and interacting with God's creation, you are missing out on a significant opportunity in your spiritual life. Whether it is observing weather, tending flowers, raising chickens, feeding birds, or growing your own food, a Christian needs to be aware of the miracle of God's creation. Oftentimes God will use those interactions to make Himself known in specific ways.

Make sure your children understand the miracle of God's creation as well. Pointing them to the Creator on a daily basis through small observations and interactions can be a tremendous faith-building experience.

Here are a few posts that touch on God's creation as well as a few faith-building posts.

I continue to add a variety of interesting content to the Forums. I hope you will stop by and take a look at the topics that interest you.
This week's featured marketplace is The Pilgrim Institute - They have a series of books called The Mighty Works of God which teaches children about the Providential History of the United States. If you want your children or grandchildren to understand the principles of self-government, I encourage you to check these out. They have many other courses and resources for adults as well.
Here are some of the most recent posts in case you missed them. If you've been enjoying the Eventide Blessing posts, you probably noticed I'm seeking out videos of regular people sharing their gift of music. This is a deliberate choice and I hope you enjoy meeting other Christians who are using their gifts in small ways to bless the body of Christ.

If you like the idea of receiving Morning Hope and Eventide Blessings each day, you can subscribe to real-time notifications. It's the red circle with the white bell in the lower right corner of my site. You'll get a little pop-in notification in your browser each time I post something new.
