Since I’m keeping markers of significant events, I do want to write a post about the April 8 solar eclipse. It’s not so much about the fact that a solar eclipse is happening. These happen with regularity. Instead, it is all of the stories, agendas, and events that have been tacked on to that day.
Tyler wrote this on Truth Social this morning and it summarized my thinking very well.
Whatever maybe actually occurring with the eclipse on Monday, one thing is clear….they want us paying attention. The nationwide hubbub surrounding it details a much larger interest then ever before.
I remember a similar eclipse in middle school. I was allowed to go outside for a few minutes during class and see the shadow on the ground while the school day went on. No one lost their minds over it or dreamed of cancelling school.
Everything around this day is odd, but there is one scheduled event in particular that stands out to me. I won’t be discussing these in detail, but here are some of the related events being discussed.
- The crossing of this eclipse path with the 2017 eclipse path which makes an X on the USA. The 2017 eclipse went over multiple towns named Salem and the 2024 eclipse will go over multiple locations named Nineveh. (I’m aware of the raging debate about the numbers of locations which is why I did not include them.)
- The location of the X being near the New Madrid Fault
- National Guard deployments
- Schools cancelled
- NASA firing three rockets into the eclipse path. The project is called APEP (Atmospheric Perturbations Around The Eclipse Path) and is named after an Egyptian serpent god who was the nemesis of Ra, the sun god.
- CERN reactivating
I do find the location of the X being near the New Madrid Fault interesting. I’ve discussed the very real concerns about another massive New Madrid earthquake outbreak in a previous video post a few years ago. I haven’t dug into the connection between eclipses and earthquakes, but I do know there was a significant solar eclipse on Constitution Day 1811. (You can read about that here: Thomas Jefferson and the 1811 Constitution Day Eclipse.) The New Madrid Earthquakes started in December 1811. Coincidence or connected? I don’t know.
The NASA thing is weird, even for NASA.
But the one that gives me actual pause is the reactivation of CERN on that specific day. If you’ve never looked into CERN, you really should. Conspiracy theories about it abound, but setting all of those aside there is something incredibly disturbing about the place. You can watch the opening celebration ceremonies on CensorTube. (I won’t embed them here.) The disgusting nature of those alone is enough to make you realize there is something insidious about the place. Those are not the celebrations of advanced “science” but something else. Now add in the prominent statue of Shiva placed outside of the facility and what they claim to be doing there. The entire operation should give you pause for thought, especially if you are a Christian.
Something to keep in mind is that there are many people in this country and the world who absolutely believe in the power of numbers, astronomical signs, etc. Again, it’s not something I will get into in this post. But knowing what I know, I have no trouble seeing it as significant that CERN is firing up that day. What do they plan to do? I have no idea. But it’s relatively safe for me to say as a Christian that I don’t think they are up to anything good there at any time.
So here are my thoughts.
- Am I thinking something significant could happen on April 8 beyond the solar eclipse? Yes.
- Do I know what it is? No.
- Will I make a prediction about what it is? No.
- Am I claiming it has something to do with the “biblical end times”? No.
- Do I think it is connected to evil? Yes.
- Do I think we will know it has happened in real time? Probably not, but who knows.
- Do I think something truly evil could manifest itself that day in a way everyone would be aware of? Yes, because we are living in unprecedented times.
- Would I bet everything I own on something significant happening that day? Absolutely not. There is no way to predict what these people will do at this point. But I would not be surprised at all if something happened on Monday.

Early, when people started talking about the eclipse and businesses posting they were going to close that day, I thought they were really overreacting. I was perplexed, wondering why all the hubbub was going on. As time has progressed, I am getting the same feeling that someone wants us to assign great significance to the happening. We are in the totality, and our government offices are closing, businesses are closing, it’s just very strange to me. I am not frightened, because I know God is in control. I am just waiting to see what happens, if anything. It wasn’t long ago that we had the last one and I don’t remember this much craziness about it, with national guard and emergency declarations. I’m glad I have a Savior I can count on! ❤️

It’s strange all the major hubbub surrounding this. It seems like a huge distraction from something else. With Biden egging on any type of war in the last few months, it makes me wonder. What is the big “thing” that will be the distraction? It won’t be good.

Greetings from Northern Ohio, where we will experience total darkness, and there are many events planned. I had the day off of work today, Friday, so I did some errands and got gas for one of our vehicles so I won’t have to stop for any reason to shop for anything for the next 3 days. I am scheduled to work Saturday through Monday, and I’m planning on leaving early just in case there’s lots of traffic.
Our two older sons have Monday off of work because their places of employment are going to be closed. My husband is a facility manager, and has been asked by people who work in the building if it will be closed on Monday. He intends to be there and to keep the building open.
Our youngest son and I both work at a hospital and we’re both scheduled to report for work on Monday. The hospital is near the southern shore of Lake Erie, and there are quite a few towns that are in the ground zero range there, so there are lots of “watch parties” and such going on all around us.
You asked for my thoughts. From where I am, it looks like it’s going to be a sun worshipers convention. Do I think something is up, and they’re using this to sneak it in? Yes?
Can I do anything about this? Nothing but watch and pray. Oh, and stay out of fear.
The blessing in it all is that we have a friend who is an astronomer. He wrote a textbook from a Christian perspective about it. In their family’s Christmas card last year, they mailed us a few pairs of eclipse glasses at no charge. Pretty awesome seeing as they’re selling them in all of the stores and nature centers around here for $3 per pair. 😀
We’re travelling to see it. There are some phenomena that occur with a total eclipse that are strikingly different from a partial eclipse, and my husband is very excited about this opportunity. We’re bringing our own food, water, and sanitation, and we expect major traffic jams and associated difficulties.
I checked a couple of physicist websites, and I’m not finding anything on the CERN experiment. I don’t know anything about CERN conspiracy theories, but I remember that there was concern when they first started up the Large Hadron Collider that they might be running a risk of destroying the world. I’ll look at the opening ceremony when I get a chance.
I would think that a total eclipse would only slightly increase general earthquake risk. The moon is frequently in the sky during the daytime. Perhaps an eclipse would make a big earthquake happen sooner than it otherwise would have, and probably the New Madrid Fault is about due for another big one.

What I found so far about the CERN opening ceremony is a Reuters fact-check saying, “Oh, that wasn’t CERN, that was the Gotthard Tunnel opening”. Definitely some creepy imagery with that. Then I found a conspiracy theorist on YouTube linking that event to CERN anyway. I haven’t watched the videos, but I do believe that there are some people working hard to find/create the Antichrist and all that.

One personal observation that wasn’t appropriate to add to the post… I strongly dislike the outdoors light during eclipses. There is something unsettling about it. I have always felt this way.
In all probability I’ll close the blinds/curtains, turn on the lights like it’s evening, and ignore that it’s even happening except for one little look outdoors at the peak.

I get this substack daily. That was quite the rabbit hole he went down today!
I find it amazing that astronomers can forecast eclipses decades in advance right down to the minute and location. To me, it’s a comforting reminder that God is the Creator… and we didn’t get here by chance. I don’t know how evolutionists can look at the precision and cyclical nature of our universe and not admit that none of this could have happened by random chance. Systems only break down… they don’t improve over time. Eclipses are super-cool reminders that God holds all of us in the palm of His hand.
Well, we’re all still here. No zombie apocalypse as far as I can tell.

What does it mean? The two most obvious guesses would be:
1. Someone is running a (bad) psyop and used the eclipse map circulating as part of it.
2. Something good related to the new money system happened on April 8.
Time will tell. I don’t see why someone would create the Debt Clock website and use it as a bad info psyop. That doesn’t really make sense. It’s more likely it’s a info psyop by the good guys.
