In Aunt Lucy’s Kitchen by Cynthia Rylant is the first book in The Cobble Street Cousins, a series of six books about three young girls.

I had no idea when I ordered them for Caroline how much they would come to mean to her. This series of books has an honored place on her bookshelves.

In Aunt Lucy’s Kitchen

The Cobble Street cousins are Lily, Tess, and Rosie. They are staying with their Aunt Lucy for a year while their parents are on a professional dancing tour around the world.

The girls have cozy adventures together while sharing the huge attic in Aunt Lucy’s old home. Each girl is interested in different activities, but they all bring their unique take on life to their time together.

This series of books is simple and cheerful. The girls get involved with their aunt’s romance and there are many sweet surprises along the way.

Caroline’s absolute favorite in the series is A Little Shopping which involves the girls working on miniatures and a dollhouse. The series includes:

~ Okay, I figured out the answer to my experiment. It took ten days of trying to figure out the root problems, but it came to me this morning. Answer is in motion at the moment even though you can't see it yet on the public side. I think it will make everyone happy. ♥

~ I'm in the midst of My Two Week Experiment so if things look a bit off from time to time with the website design or layout, that's why. Thank you for your patience!
