Brave Irene by William Steig is a cozy picture book that deserves a place on your bookshelf. I’ve featured it in the post Children’s Picture Books About Courage, but also wanted to include it among my favorites in Homeschooling with Cozy Books.
There was a time when all three of us could quote the entire text of The Little Golden Book Little Mommy from memory. When Caroline went through her baby doll phase, she wanted to read this book and look at the pictures all of the time.
