Pocket Chart Stand – DIY Plans for PVC Pipe

Pocket charts and sentence strips can be fun addition to your early years of homeschooling. They are interactive and work well with children who benefit from a more hands-on approach to learning. You can use them for:

• poetry
• Bible verses
• scrambled sentences
• practicing reading away from a book

When Caroline was little, we made a pocket chart stand of PVC pipe for our homeschool room. You can see a picture of it here in our learning room from that time.
