I knew it had everything Caroline would love including the illustrations, the silliness, the rollicking language, and the animals.

Why Are Women Unhappy?
My worst garden critter is the woodrat, also known as a packrat. It comes into my garden and chews plants off at the roots. They do that to harvest them for food middens. I know they have to eat too, but it just drives me crazy. – Margy

I had to look up woodrats because I wasn’t familiar with them. I can see how they could be a real nuisance. I hear you about the fact they have to eat too. We have birds that come to our feeders that I would rather not feed, but they have to eat too. LOL!
