I saw this idea somewhere online, but don’t remember where to give credit. The suggestion was that each month on the 25th to take care of some Christmas task. By doing something every month, you spread out some of the things on your plate.
The inside page of my copy of The Complete Tightwad Gazette says I purchased it in 1999. That sounds about right. That was around the time I had begun to read as much as I could about simple living. My copy is yellowed, dog-eared, and full of flagged pages.
So many ideas. So many goals. So much honest forgetting to follow through when it isn’t right in my face. Maybe you have that problem, too?
This isn’t something I specifically did today, but about a week ago. However, it’s definitely related to what I’m doing with this series of cozy life adjustments.
