I define a cozy life as one that brings greater peace, understanding, joy, beauty, and faith to you and your loved ones. Today we’re going to take a look at peace, the first item on the list.

We’ll look at a definition of peace and the specific parts of our life that it includes. I’ll share five choices we’ve made over the years that have brought greater peace to our home, including one that might surprise you! Hopefully at the end, you’ll be inspired to make some changes that will bring greater peace to your life and home.

What a lovely podcast to listen to as I am right in the middle of re-organizing our whole house to prepare for the months ahead. Such a great reminder that what I am doing is important and that the weeks I have spent thinking, problem solving and sorting will be worth it.

Sallie Schaaf Borrink

For 20+ years, I’ve been writing about following Jesus Christ and making choices based on what is true, beautiful, and eternal. Through purposeful living, self-employment, and homeschooling, our family has learned that freedom comes from a commitment to examine all of life and think for yourself.

I hope you will join me here where we discuss all of life each day.

A Christian Nation

"The real object of the first amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity; but to exclude all rivalry among christian sects, and to prevent any national ecclesiastical establishment, which should give to a hierarchy the exclusive patronage of the national government."

Joseph Story (Associate Justice of the Supreme Court), Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States (1833), § 1871.

countenance: To favor; to encourage by opinion or words; To encourage; to appear in defense (Websters Dictionary 1828)
