I created this Pandora station eleven years ago. I’ve curated it over the years to keep it to a very specific aesthetic. Every once in a while they try to introduce something new that doesn’t fit and it gets the big thumbs down. I laughed when I saw this morning how many things I had downvoted.
It would be wonderful if I could embed a player here, but that isn’t an option. You’ll have to go to Pandora to listen (for free).
My Beautiful and Peaceful Christmas Music Station
I hope the music blesses you and your loved ones during this season. ♥

Merry Christmas, Sally. I, too, love my Christmas music, but I listen (the old fashion way) to the cds I have collected over the years. Like you recommend -it is always good to have a hard copy of what you love. Some of my favorite Christmas cds are by Sandi Patti, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith (from WV), the Martins (wonderful), 4 Him (an all-time favorite), and I cannot leave out the delightful music, arrangements, and harmony of Point of Grace. I also enjoy Perry Como and even the more modern renditions by Casting Crowns, Mandisa, etc. Also, I cannot forget the classical Pavarotti cd and the London Symphony Orchestra.
Now, I have a special recommendation for the mothers of young children. There is a series of seven cds called G.T. and the Halo Express. I first heard of them on Focus on the Family. the authors taught scripture to their small son who was to experience surgery. As he came out from under the anesthesia, he was softly singing a Bible verse! The cds tell stories and set scripture to wonderful music. My children listened to them as they were growing up. Then, whenever they heard the scriptures read in church that they had heard set to music, they would softly sing under their breaths (even as grown-ups!) You cannot imagine how that blessed this mother’s heart. G. T. and the Halo Express’s Christmas cd is called “Ticket to Christmas” and it will bless your whole family. I play it every year. The cds can be ordered in their entirety or individually.
I would love to hear from other fans of G.T. or anyone who explores this music for their family.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Hi Melinda,
I’ve never heard of the G.T. and the Halo Express. I found the website if anyone wants to look them up.

We’ve been working our way through our Christmas CDs. I have several 4 Him CDs from back in the day, but I don’t remember if I have a Christmas one. I’ll have to look.
For some reason, everything is off this year for Christmas. I have to finish my cards this morning. Well, not finish. Start and finish. I feel like I’m missing an entire week this year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everything feels completely off and like it cannot possibly be December 21. LOL!
