I’ve written about this topic before in Is It Possible Some Mormons Are Saved? But every time I come across a short, clear explanation of why Mormons are not Christians, I like to share it.
Many Mormons sincerely believe they are Christians. They use many of the same words you will hear in a Christian church. They even talk about Jesus. But their Mormon faith is not compatible with the historic Christian faith whether you want to consider that Protestant, Baptist, Reformed, Catholic, Orthodox, etc. There is no way that Mormons are Christians.
Take a look at this video. It’s brief, but covers important doctrine.
(I’m not going to debate this with any Mormons in the comments. If you are a Mormon, I urge you to understand the truth in this video and others. There are many channels on YouTube dedicated to reaching Mormons with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.)

Thank you for this post, I missed the one in 2020 somehow. This morning, I happened to read Jesus’ words in Matthew 22 about there being no marriage in the resurrection.

Hi Peggy,
You’re welcome. I think this was originally in the forum and is one of the posts that I’ve moved from there to here. I’ve been working on that process off and on. I publish forum entries as a blog post with the same date I put it in the forum to start with. So there is lots of “older” content on the blog now that originated there. My goal is to get it all moved and delete the forums, but it’s a slow process with everything else I need and want to do in life.
