David remarked at breakfast how happy he is with the election done and results (mostly) known. I am glad, but not in the same way. I never doubted Trump would win and said so in my last podcast. Everything I tracked over the past four years led me to the conclusion there was no way he was going to lose. The same group of people who told us on Truth Social they had stopped the cheating in 2016 and allowed it in 2020 told us that the cheating would not be allowed in 2024. They pushed us to vote early for reasons which are now clear. The only questions I had were about exactly how it would play out.
So I’m very happy, of course, but not satisfied. I will not be completely satisfied until the truly controversial topics I’ve discussed at length are completely acknowledged and taken as fact. That is when I will truly be satisfied.
I am relieved we have reached the next phase of this process. I’ve set aside so much of my life the past four years to try to wake people up. I’ve blown up this website (multiple times) to try to get information to people. I’ve probably lost thousands of readers/subscribers and tens of thousands of potential subscribers. I cannot imagine how many printables I didn’t sell. I can think of many people who commented frequently in the past who no longer do. I have family, friends, and acquaintances who think I’m a conspiracy theorist (in the bad sense of the term) and who think I’m nuts. Being estranged from people is difficult. I’m sure some of you are nodding your head, experiencing the same thing. For the record, I consider what I’ve dealt with to be minimal compared to the sacrifices made by many others during this information war.
I especially want to thank those of you who have hung with me this entire time. You’ve followed me from platform to platform and website to website as I tried to figure out how to make it all work. In the end, I couldn’t make it all work. Given the current climate, it was impossible to write about my regular topics and the Second American Revolution. I always tried to do what was best for my readers but sometimes the best wasn’t always clear. I’m sure I made mistakes along the way, but I can honestly say they were made with the best of intentions during the fog of war, deplatforming, and the like. I apologize for the frustration I’m sure you felt at times as I tried to get it right.
Given the choice, I’d make the same choice again. Even when it’s been very difficult, I’ve enjoyed the intellectual challenge it presented. I’ve enjoyed knowing I was helping people sort out the truth, even when done imperfectly.
I am profoundly grateful the Lord woke me up in time to be a part of it. I am also profoundly grateful I never took the Q drops seriously until after the 2020 election. God knew I did not have the bandwidth in my life to get wrapped up in them in real time. But He also knew this history loving woman would be thrilled to be a part of something much bigger. Playing a teeny, tiny role in the information war of the Second American Revolution has been a true blessing.
All that said, I no longer personally feel the same sense of urgency to get accurate information in front of people. It’s time for me to focus on some of the things I’ve had to set aside.
So the News section is returning to Sallie’s Rebuilding America. I’ll continue to add content there as I think circumstances merit it (and they definitely will), but I don’t have any expectations regarding what posting there will look like.
In its place, I will be sliding in a topic I started writing about a number of years ago but put away. If you are a long-time reader, you might remember that I briefly tried writing about Gen X Retirement Planning. It was an idea ahead of its time and I was in a mothering stage where it simply wasn’t possible to do multiple websites so I shut it down.
Life is in the process of changing in our home and now that topic is right where we are mentally. I’ll write more about it in the days ahead, but writing about retirement and semi-retirement will slide in nicely as I get back to writing about cozy living, simple living, homemaking, self-employment, books, etc. Long-term it is a good fit.
So that’s the plan. Sallie’s Rebuilding America is live but not fully up-to-date. I need to unpublish the relevant posts that are here and make sure they are live over there so I can redirect them. I have a few dozen newer posts on this website to move over to that website over the next couple of days and then that will be done. I plan on putting the newsletter option back up and will add the Follow It option as well. Those might not be done until over the weekend.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

I have not commented, but I have deeply appreciated all the information over the years. I was a subscriber at some point, is there a way to support you this way now?

It is a nice feeling to not have a sense of dread hanging over my head, if only for a short time. I’m sure after a short reprieve, they will be back in the saddle to wreak havoc and spread evil. I thank you for your ongoing willingness to point out the important bits and explain the confusing parts. 🙂
I am always interested in everything you post – home / education information as well as news. I appreciate the immense amount of time and brainpower I know it must require. Looking forward to your future posts!

Sallie, this post made me teary, in a good way.
I was so happy when I found your writings… it meant so much to find someone else who thought similarly to me. It helped me to sense and know and believe that there really were A LOT of us out there.
For that, a huge thank you 😊

Hi Renee,
Thank you so much! One of the reasons I do what I do is so other people don’t feel alone. Someone has to speak up and most of the time I don’t mind being the one. LOL!
Thank you, too, for your kind words of encouragement.

Okay, I’m all moved over except the podcasts. Not sure what I will do with those, but I spent all last evening and today moving everything else. They will have to wait for another time or something.
The newsletter subscription option on the other site is active.
I will NOT be adding the follow.it option. I tried to set it up and their system is just so ridiculously NOT intuitive I gave up. It reminded me of how much I already don’t like using it on this website so why would I torture myself twice as much? LOL! If anything, I should get rid of it on here, simplify my life, and save a few dollars every month.
Onward!
