James 3:13-18
Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.
But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth.
This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.
For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Hi Sallie, I am new to your blog, having discovered you through another blog that I read. I love the book of James—I think it’s my favorite book of the Bible. A couple years ago, I set a goal for myself to memorize the entire book. I am happy to say that I have the first 4 chapters down and am 7 verses into chapter 5. Not much more to go.
I am enjoying browsing around your site!
Blessings,

I hope you find encouragement and challenges to grow in your walk with Christ while you browse!
