Anyone who doubts Calvinism will be labeled a Pelagian or Semi-Pelagian. But what if that label doesn’t even apply to Pelagius after whom the term is named?
Below are two interviews with Dr. Ali Bonner, British scholar and author of The Myth of Pelagianism. I have watched the first one in its entirety. It is one of the most interesting conversations I’ve watched in a long time.
I have not watched the second yet, but I am sharing it since it is another interview with Dr. Bonner. I hope to finally watch it this weekend.
If you want to learn about church history and why these terms get thrown around, then gather around with a cup of coffee or tea. You have the opportunity to learn something very interesting and relevant in the body of Christ today.
Post image: A print of Pelagius from an unidentified early modern source. Pelagius (ca. 354 – ca. 420/440) was an ascetic monk and reformer who denied the doctrine of Original Sin from Adam and was declared a heretic by the Roman Catholic Church.
