The other day I pulled up some of the YouTube videos that show highlights from the media meltdown on Election Night 2016. I’ve watched them before, but these were some new-to-me ones.
I was really struck by them in a new way given everything that is going on right now in our country. It is hard for rational people to comprehend that almost three years after President Trump was elected and sworn in that his opponents STILL cannot move on from the election results.
I think there are a number of reasons for that. The Deep State, the potential exposure of the corruption of the previous administration, etc. are all part of it. However, these videos below clearly demonstrate just how deranged the media was over Trump’s election.
Not only that, but these clips are FULL of false information and flat out lies that can easily be disproven.
The first one is the Top 5 RINO Meltdowns. If you don’t know, RINO stands for Republican in Name Only. These are people who say they are Republicans, but their allegiance is to the political machine (swamp) in Washington, D.C. above any party affiliation.
I especially point out the last woman who claims to be a Republican strategist. Listen at 12:47 and how she speaks about people in this country.
“We are a white America and a non-white America. We are an educated America and a non-educated America.”
The disdain these people have for anyone who isn’t part of the coastal elites is disgusting. (This includes President Trump, by the way.) These people are the ones sowing division in this country.
Here’s another example. Listen to the over-the-top rhetoric these people are spreading on Election Night.
Seriously. Listen to the fear mongering and hysteria and true hatred these people are pumping out.
And they haven’t stopped. They have had one message and it is Orange Mad Bad. Orange Man Evil. Must Stop Orange Man.
They have done NOTHING else since his election.
And we continue on to this day.
They see everything through the lens of identity politics fueled by their Trump Derangement Syndrome and they are either unable or unwilling to think from any other paradigm.
Our local utility company is proposing to cut their emissions to exceed the targets of the Paris Agreement, regardless of the fact that the U.S. hasn’t signed on. There are people pushing for my state to move to single-payer healthcare. County librarians are running programs that push progressive viewpoints–one of them got an award for it. I can only guess what some of the teachers are doing in the schools; I know that there were students in the high school that were in tears after the election of Trump.
They just don’t know when to quit, even after they’ve been told.

Yes, you live in the land of leftist lunacy, I’m afraid. Well, one of them. Lately there are so many trying to outdo each other. LOL!
In 2016, Hillary Clinton won in Minnesota by less than 45,000 votes (1.5%). If they keep this up, I can see Minnesota going for Trump in 2020.
I don’t know if you’ll see this, Peggy, but that Minneapolis mayor must be on Trump’s payroll. He is doing everything he can to turn moderates and reasonable people into Trump voters. I had never heard of him until he tried to take out the Trump rally last week with those ridiculous fees. Now he seems to have gone all in on getting into arguments with the police, etc.
I’ve watched a lot of Trump rallies online. That Minnesota one was by far one of the most raucous and energized I’ve ever seen – and that includes during 2016.
