Prepare Yourself Spiritually and Emotionally For Whatever Is Coming

I don’t know exactly what’s coming, but I can tell you that most people aren’t ready to process it. I’m not talking about the financial collapse, the covid revelations, or even the 2024 election. I’m talking about the culmination of some kind of massive spiritual war that goes far beyond the reality in which we think we live.

I also strongly believe psyops have been set up to confuse and deceive devoted Christians.

As I’ve already said, our understanding of the Bible is going to be challenged. You need to prepare yourself for that. That’s one of the reasons I mentioned the Nephilim. That barely scratches the surface of what I think is going to be put forth.

In the past few months, I’ve gone down some rabbit holes that are frankly nuts at first glance. However, I think each of them probably holds some grain of truth. The challenge is finding the grains of truth in the midst of the weirdness.

I encourage you to not automatically default to the “it’s the end of the world just like I’ve been taught that’s what the Bible says in Revelation and Daniel” because I’m not convinced that is even an accurate description of what is going on. If that is your belief (premillenial or dispensational beliefs like in the Left Behind series), then hold that in one half of your brain. In the other half, be prepared to process and evaluate information that may not fit that paradigm but is nonetheless real. You can hold that belief while still considering if you are wrong.

We’ve reached the point where me trying to offer thoughtful commentary on the news cycle is impossible when I basically do this as a hobby. The flood of information is insane. The past two weeks I tried to keep up with only the biggest stories to add to a weekly thread. I tried it and won’t continue it. It’s too stressful at this point.

Last week I started watching a Christian video that addresses some of these topics, but it gave me a weird vibe so I turned it off after a few minutes. A little later I turned it back on and finished it because I know the topic is important. I want to at least know WHY I was rejecting something. David and I are still not sure what to make of it but I know the topics are important. I don’t think any of us will be able to avoid them in the future. (I wrote about it later here: “The Unseen Realm” with Dr. Michael S. Heiser.)

I don’t have predictions for what is going to happen because I think we may be in the midst of a deception bigger than any of us ever even imagined. I’m not trying to be cryptic or vague. I’m trying to be truthful while also not leading people astray or promoting false ideas.

We live in strange times. Prepare to see strange things you never thought you would see. Be prepared to be discerning.

I do think many Christians are being deceived. This has been Satan’s goal since the beginning of time. The evil is so out in your face though, and those who are blind are being easily deceived with it. It is almost willfully blind. I have been trying to spend more time in my Bible on a daily basis. It makes a difference.

There is SO much news on a daily/weekly basis it is almost impossible to keep up with, among the stories that are not even in the mainstream. I can’t keep up with it, much less you keeping up with it. It is stressful. Who knows what will happen. Yet, many are not prepared.

For 20+ years, I’ve been writing about following Jesus Christ and making choices based on what is true, beautiful, and eternal. Through purposeful living, self-employment, and homeschooling, our family has learned that freedom comes from a commitment to examine all of life and think for yourself.

I hope you will join me here where we discuss all of life each day.

A Christian Nation

"The real object of the first amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity; but to exclude all rivalry among christian sects, and to prevent any national ecclesiastical establishment, which should give to a hierarchy the exclusive patronage of the national government."

Joseph Story (Associate Justice of the Supreme Court), Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States (1833), § 1871.

countenance: To favor; to encourage by opinion or words; To encourage; to appear in defense (Websters Dictionary 1828)
