Would it be out of the realm to give them citizenship to join military to go against their own US Citizen’s? Is that too farfetched? I mean, there are Chinese aged fighting men as well as men from other countries that are enemies of the US that we have no agreement to deport these people back to. This is a hot potato that will get bigger and possibly explode at some point….

Any of our resident scientists want to explain to the non-math/stats people like me how significant a 13-sigma event is? It’s basically beyond statistically impossible, right? As in statistically impossible is more possible.

Well, the SIX sigma strategy is a common engineering/manufacturing business analysis method used to identify defects and minimize them, if that is any indication!
So if I understand what you’re saying… SIX sigma is preparing for the worst possibility you could imagine in your business process. Basically almost impossible or else you’d be discussing eight sigma or ten sigma or whatever.
Here’s a good explanation I found:
“The term “Six Sigma” refers to a statistical measure of how far a process deviates from perfection. A process that operates at six sigma has a failure rate of only 0.00034%, which means it produces virtually no defects. Six Sigma was developed by Motorola in the 1980s, and it has since been adopted by many other companies around the world, including General Electric, Toyota, and Amazon. It is used in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and service industries to improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and increase profits.”
So if the process failure rate is 3.4 defects per million at six sigma – I cannot really fathom how minuscule it would be at 13 sigma. Or for the purposes of this discussion, how unlikely this event is from naturally occurring. I no longer remember how to calculate it! LOL

Has anyone seen “Nefarious” yet? I read the synopsis which was enough for me. The reviews I’ve read have been glowing.
I have not seen it but have friends who did and said it was very good.
I would like to see it. I haven’t seen it listed in our theatres. Will have to check again.
