Near the end of the movie The Big Short, there is a scene that is a re-enactment of an actual historic event from 2008. A bigwig from the investment firm Bear Stearns is doing a moderated onstage exchange with Mark Baum, one of the main characters in the story who has figured out the entire financial system is on the verge of collapse. As they speak to the audience, they have completely different explanations of what is happening. The Bear Stearns guy is still pumping his company’s stock and stating that everything is perfectly fine. Mark Baum is speaking about the tragic and wicked big picture of what is unfolding across the country even at that moment.
During the exchange, the members of the audience are watching the Bear Stearns stock price crash in real time on their Blackberries. At one point, someone alerts the people on stage that while they have been talking the stock has lost a significant amount of value and asks the Bear Stearns guy if he would still buy more. He tells them that of course he would (while shifting uncomfortably in his seat).
Bear Stearns failed shortly after.
The big lie that good people unknowingly believe is this:
If it was true, they would tell us.
How do I know this? Because I was that way. Like all “good” people, my mind did not work in a manner to deceive others. I didn’t think in ways of dominating others for my own advancement. I’m not a psychopath or sociopath so I am incapable of being so detached from a situation that I can use people at-will with no conscience or thought of their well-being.
The truth is we are surrounded by people like that in government, in churches, in the workplace, in our communities, and even in our families. They control a great deal and that power comes from good people believing lies and not their own eyes, logic, and gut intuition.
The reality is the good people of America cannot fathom that great evil can flourish around them and no one would say anything.
If it was true, they would tell us.
No, they wouldn’t. There are many reasons they won’t tell us.
- They won’t tell us because they are part of something illegal.
- They won’t tell us because they would lose their power.
- They won’t tell us because they are blackmailed.
- They won’t tell us because they would lose their access to their powerful network.
- They won’t tell us because they would have to admit their life was a lie.
- They won’t tell us because they are indifferent to us.
- They won’t tell us because they hate us.
- They won’t tell us because we as individuals do not exist. We are merely pieces to be moved around a board game en masse.
If you are waiting for someone on the television to tell you what is happening, you are living in a web of deception.
Yes, I care enough about you to tell you the truth and say that to you.
If you believe the people on the television are going to tell you the truth, you will never know the truth until it is in their best interest to admit to it. By then, you will be forced to deal with the consequences they have put on you in the advancement of their own agenda.
There is no one in a position of power who has your individual best interest in mind.
No one.
If you are blessed, you have a few family members and friends who have your best interest in mind.
If you are fortunate, the Lord will lead you to people who care about humanity and will speak the truth.
I don’t personally know most of the people reading this post. I know a few in real life, but most of you I will never know in person. I don’t know where you live, your family situation, your race, your income bracket, what car you drive, how you decorate your home, or what you spend your money on. But I can assure you that chances are I care far more about your well-being than any news propaganda reader, politician, celebrity, or random person you come into contact with at work or elsewhere. Sadly, I probably care more about you than many of the people in your own church.
That’s the reality of the world in which we live right now.
I care enough to speak the truth whenever I can. I will never stop seeking the truth and speaking about it. For the past 17 years I’ve gained probably tens of thousands of readers and then lost most of them when I started asking questions that made them uncomfortable.
I don’t care.
My calling is to seek the truth and to try to help others find it.
If people aren’t willing or ready to go there, then they are free to go to other blogs and websites. I pray God’s blessing and protection on them as they make that choice.
I am not God and I’m not a prophet. I’m a Christian wife, mom, and homeschooler who is compelled to do what I do on this website with the time I can take out of the rest of my life because I care deeply about people. I will sometimes miss things or get things wrong. But I will never stop telling the truth and pointing people to the ultimate Truth which is Jesus Christ.

No, they aren’t.
They will lie to you right up to the very end, even while you can see the evidence right in front of you.
The sooner you realize this is true, the sooner you will begin to find the truth. Until then, you are trusting people who don’t have your best interest in mind.
I may not do it perfectly, but I get up every day ready to help whoever reads what I write or listens to what I say.
The choice is yours.
And may the Lord give each of us discernment and wisdom during these days.

There is a satisfaction and a kinship that is felt with a lot of people out there who we don’t know when they speak or act on the truth. It’s a sense of “we’re in this together” as believers and as patriots. It’s the ability to add “likes” to people’s comments when they are speaking up. It’s buying someone’s product or song or something when they’re making a stand and they’re being threatened with cancellation. It’s finding those ways to reinforce the ordinary person in any way, when there is truth to be upheld. THE truth, not “their truth”.

The Bible, God’s holy inspired word is the most powerful objective truth in existence. Passing ideas and conversations through the prism of this truth will always expose lies. Satan, the father of lies cannot hide from the blazing light of divine truth. Anyone who thinks they can conceal the truth from others has first concealed it from themselves.

Thank you for speaking truth. Gaslighting is essentially lying. The TRUTH is what they won’t speak. Since God and His Word are hated and power and $$ are loved, the truth will not be spoken.
The gaslighting and denials get old. We see what is happening in front of our eyes. People who are waking up know the truth. I hope that will show at elections despite the issues with voting.

Now why did that happen?
I’m sure if there was election fraud this week, they would be telling us. Right? They would be pointing out how so much of this doesn’t add up.
And that it’s perfectly legal and acceptable for a Secretary of State running for Governor of Arizona to oversee her own election where she gets to declare herself the winner after they drag the voting out for days beyond what any other state does. I mean, if that was a problem in a state with a history of election issues, they would tell us. Right?
And Michigan, a state with arguably the most disliked governor in the country, voted virtually straight Democrat in every race including the legislative branch and judiciary to further solidify her power. The citizens of Michigan wanted a governor to have the power to do virtually anything beginning in January. I mean, they would tell us if something was blatantly wrong with the election results. Right?
Or would the Establishment do everything in their power to make us believe Trump is done, DeSantis is the future, and that of course everyone voted for Whitmer, Hochul, Fetterman, more crime, more financial misery, and more mutilation of children without their parents’ consent or even knowledge?

For over 30 years my wife and I have taken part of our holiday to travel in the U.S. Not only that we also have family who live and work there. It has long been one of our favorite countries to visit. But…what has happened to the U.S. ? I have trouble believing the American people voted for BLM, CRT, abortion up to the day of birth, Iranian nuclear deal, etc. etc. We here in Canada have our own far left lunatics to deal with and there is NO WAY Trudeau will survive the next election. The Canadian people will trounce him out of office and like in recent Quebec elections the Liberal Party will take a beating. But in the U.S. it appears to the rest of the world that the Americans have opted for a morally and intellectually reprobate path forward. Difficult to trust as an ally.
