There are numerous articles and studies online regarding how Christians are handling the pandemic and lockdown. The summary is that people are either drawing closer to Christ or simply drifting away. There isn’t much of a middle ground at this time.
I fall into the drawing closer to Christ category. Even though we have not been able to attend church through most of this, the situation has awakened in me a renewed desire to be faithful and make the most of the opportunities given to me. The pandemic was part of it, but the sudden crazed bending of the knee really pushed me. I’ve already spoken at length about this in Why Are High Profile Christians Bending the Knee and Embracing the False Woke Gospel? so I won’t discuss that aspect of it again.
But I think it is worth thinking about how the current situations are impacting us in our faith. Are you drawing closer to Christ? Or are you drifting?
