This was a long week for everyone for various reasons. It was a long week at the end of a long month in the midst of a long year. Giving up, throwing up our hands, or giving into depression isn’t an option. As women, we set the tone in the home more than anyone.
These are dark and difficult days in the world. We’re living through historic events, some of which I believe are not what they seem. But whatever is unfolding, these are times that deeply trouble and unnerve men, women, and children. These are confusing times that don’t make sense, at least on the surface.
He who leads the upright along the path of evil will fall into his own pit,
but the blameless will inherit what is good.
A rich man is wise in his own eyes,
but a poor man with discernment sees through him.
This morning I cleaned out some online things. It was mostly homeschooling, pretty pictures of God’s creation, quotes, etc. However, there were other things I decided to remove.
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but he who hates correction is stupid.
The good man obtains favor from the LORD,
but the LORD condemns a man who devises evil.
A man cannot be established through wickedness,
but the righteous cannot be uprooted.
