I wasn’t sure if I had anything to say about the election, but this video made me want to share.  It’s especially effective if you start it, immediately put it on pause to get some perspective and then let it run.

It was interesting to go back and read the comments that were made here after Obama’s immaculation. I would say we pretty much nailed it in terms of how this would play out.  At that time I said:

The thrill of “change” and the first black president will fade very quickly when people discover that Obama isn’t going to pay their bills for them and buy them a car. I don’t see how he can possibly live up to all he has promised both explicitly and implicitly. Lots of disillusionment ahead for a lot of his supporters.

Other than that, I’m just taking a wait and see attitude. I’ve grown cynical and I’m not wild with anticipation regarding what is going to change.  I hope I’m wrong.  Time will tell.  🙂
