One of the most important things going on in the United States that is not being sufficiently covered in the media is the look into Big Tech and how they are controlling and manipulating people on a massive scale. This includes Google and Facebook, in particular, but would also include Twitter.
The clips below are taken from a recent hearing in Washington, D.C. Senator Ted Cruz is leading the exchange with Dr. Robert Epstein during his testimony. Dr. Epstein’s testimony clearly demonstrates just how extensive the manipulation was in our recent elections.
After the two videos with Dr. Epstein, there are a few more relevant videos including a Google exec being grilled, Dennis Prager explaining the ongoing censorship problems he has had with Big Tech, and the entire hearing if you want to see the entire thing.
The people who have the responsibility for dealing with this need to take SWIFT action before the next presidential election. This is concerning on so many levels.

From what I’ve heard and read, it’s a very tricky topic, how to rank search topics.
I follow a couple of history channels on YouTube that are regularly demonetized because they’re talking about World War 2 and other similar topics. Now, they have monetary support in other ways, BUT their views go down when the videos are demonetized. At first YouTube tried to tell them they were just crazy, but they came back with more proof from YouTube’s own platform it was true, and finally YouTube had to admit they were correct.
Instead they got an email with, here are the topics we demonetize for not being friendly to advertisors, and it was essentially any topic they were covering. Not particularly helpful.
It’s been interesting to see this covered by other people and see their takes on it.

The demonitization is a real problem for content creators. The example you gave with the YouTube history channel is a great example as is the video above about Prager U getting hit because they mention murder in a video about the Ten Commandments.
It’s impossible to talk about many topics without bringing up facts about violence, gore, hate, etc. But the only other option is to erase all mention of this which leaves us with a false view of life and the world.
Throw in the serious First Amendment violations and it’s a huge problem.
How do these Big Tech companies expect people to keep creating valuable content that drives the internet if they refuse to acknowledge them and pay them what they are due? It’s ridiculous.

Side note, technically Google and YouTube can’t violate 1st amendment because they’re not the government, technically the 1st amendment only covers what the government does.
That being said because Google and YouTube are claiming to be a platform rather than a publisher, they’re demonetization and pseudo-censoring is problematic, and makes their claims untrue.
Google and some of the others also have a special exemption granted to them by Congress because Congress assumed they would be neutral. They clearly are not and that exemption needs to be rebuked.
Monopolies FAR SMALLER than these have been broken up in the past. It is in no one’s best interest that these companies have this much power.
