As I alluded to in The Final Pivot and explained in Life In Our Home This Week and Catching Up, I’ve been formulating behind the scenes how to effectively use everything I’ve written and created over the past eighteen years to help people both now and in the years to come. At the same time, whatever I decided to do had to simplify things around here.
Part of that process was deciding to create The Lifetime Pass for my shop.
One could argue this isn’t the smartest business decision. It would make more sense to offer monthly, quarterly, and yearly options so it creates an ongoing revenue stream for me. There is truth to that. But as I said, I crave simplicity here. I don’t want WordPress membership plugins and such that complicate what I’m trying to do. I’ve tried various things over the years. I’ve observed many bloggers in all sorts of niches struggle with these choices. It ends up being copious amounts of work in most cases. I’m deliberately pivoting away from all that.
In the end, I decided I want three things.
- One, I want it to be simple. Like very simple.
- Two, I want people to benefit from all the things I’ve created and continue to create.
- Three, I want to make a fair profit from my work.
Offering The Lifetime Pass is the best solution that meets all those needs.
One important note! If you purchased A Full Year Shopping Pass in the past, you qualify for a reduced price upgrade. Even if your pass has expired, I still want to offer you the upgrade at a reduced price. I explained the details in the FAQs.
I hope many people will find this pass helpful. Please feel free to spread the word!
