Welcome to the first episode of Sallie’s Rebuilding America! I am hoping this new endeavor will allow me find the balance between using my gifts to help people while not giving up significant time away from my family and home responsibilities.

When I make a video about current events or even just try to do an in-depth post, it takes a few hours of my morning. I have to look at the news, decide what to discuss, find links or screenshots, record the video, listen to the video, choose graphics, upload the video, write the post, etc.

All of my printables for just $37!

It isn’t the time only. It also takes a lot out of me. I record things in one take because there is no editing option due to time constraints. So I am careful what I say for legal reasons, cancel culture reasons, and being precise reasons. If I make a video about something important, it honestly wipes me out the rest of the day.

So David and I found a simple voice recorder app in Linux that allows me to simply record my voice and post it. I don’t have to mess with uploading a video. We’ll see how it goes.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you like this, please leave a comment. It can be as simple as this:

  • Helpful – BRICS
  • More – Ukraine human trafficking

Please don’t leave comment like these because this tells me nothing:

  • Helpful – Russia
  • More – Ukraine

This helps me know what it connecting with the people listening. If I receive no feedback, I won’t keep going. I don’t do these things for my sake. I do them for other people. Whether it is posts in the News section of my blog, videos, or now trying this – I do it to help other people. I don’t need this. I could be writing about literally dozens of other topics that are a lot less stressful. I do this out of a genuine desire to help others deal with what is going on. But there’s no point in investing my time in these if they aren’t helping anyone.

So that’s the deal. Feedback and I make more. No feedback and I will consider myself absolved of my responsibility to do this since there aren’t enough people who feel a need for them. There won’t be any hard feelings if there isn’t a need for them. I simply want to be a good steward of the time I have each day. ♥

Very informative regarding Ukraine and Russia conflict. You are right there is so much that we do not know and a lot of conflicting information. I look forward to listening to more of your commentary.

    Sallie,
Your work is so valuable and extremely helpful to either inform or confirm other information.
I did not know about Brics. Great info.
Your admonition to see world events on a level we are not privy to helps with the frustration (which always throws me back to prayer….a good thing).
I found your blog on Ukraine invaluable for a rational perspective. Confirmation.
I appreciate your recording strategy to manage your time. Looking to mimic similar management in my life.
Thank you for all the areas you touch.

Thank you very much for your work and I found this format to be very helpful, plus you have such a mellifluous and soothing voice which is in great contrast to all the shrill hysteria out there.
I have pretty much disengaged from ” Western Media” and social media in general is not much better.
The levels of propaganda have literally become painful so this is “Helpful”, and yes, “More”

I enjoyed listening! I was aware of much of what you spoke, but had not heard of BRICS. That was interesting. I appreciate your analysis and intuition relative to the times in which we live. ❤️

Thank You .Sallie. I count on hearing your thoughts, comments, observances, etc. Reading and listening to what you have to say helps me maintain some sort of balance. I did not know about BRICS and am trying to figure out about the biolabs. There is a great deal that I do not understand , but I keep reading, Thank you again,

    Thanks Sallie,
I had never heard of BRICS before, that is eye opening. I was also wondering if The Great Reset i.e. WEF had something to do with all these countries collaborating? Some of their actions seem to go in sync with what Klaus Schwab promotes…..As far as Ukraine and Russia, there is a much bigger story behind this. I have thought that since it started and am wondering how this will all play out and where America will be in the end on the game board.

As far as Truth Social, I am like 300 and some thousand on the waiting list. It will be a long while for me to get one there.

This audio format is great. I can listen while I do other things. Thanks!

I love this, Sallie. The <15 minute audio format is so appealing. I can listen while folding clothes, running to drop off kids, etc.
While I understood about the country alliances from reading a few other sites, I didn't realize it was dubbed as BRICS.
I appreciate the analogy about the game board of which we are not privy. I couldn't agree more!
I'm looking forward to hearing your daily thoughts!

Sallie, thank you so much for doing this! I know it takes a lot out of you, so I hope you are spending time refreshing yourself mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually out in God’s creation. It is so vital for us to do that in addition to our times in study, prayer, devotion, and fellowship. That aside, I am very grateful to you and the effort you put into doing these informational talks. I don’t feel as though it is important to see a video – it’s the content that is important. BRICS is totally new to me! Press on!

    Hi Sallie,

I know I’m coming late to the party here, but I wanted to comment. This is all causing my brain’s engine to chug forward. I have “smelled something rotten” with this, and you are confirming my suspicion. I will be listening through and leaving shorter comments as I go. I have read the Ukraine post here on your blog, and I try to check updated comments on it. I haven’t been able to to listen to these new updates because I usually use periods time when I’m not too busy at work to read your blog. My work space is in an open, high traffic area, so there’s no way I can listen to sound recordings there. I will try to listen in the car, or on my days off, like today.
All that to say, I’ve only listened to one, but it’s very interesting and thought provoking. Thanks for doing this.

A Christian Nation

"The real object of the first amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity; but to exclude all rivalry among christian sects, and to prevent any national ecclesiastical establishment, which should give to a hierarchy the exclusive patronage of the national government."

Joseph Story (Associate Justice of the Supreme Court), Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States (1833), § 1871.
