Happy One Month Birthday, Little Miss Peanut!

Caroline was one month old on Saturday! We celebrated this special day while visiting my parents. We returned yesterday after spending four days with them. It was a much needed time away after being home almost non-stop for the last month. It also gave David and me our first break from 24/7 Caroline care. My parents watched her for two or three hours each day while David and I did some shopping, went out for coffee, and utilized the wireless internet at our favorite coffee shop in their town to get some work (and blogging!) done. (You didn’t really think I could write my birth story entry without some serious assist time in the baby department, did you? 🙂 )

I also used the time at Grandpa and Grandma’s to start catching up on my Bible study. I’m participating in a Beth Moore study on Daniel at my church and I’ve missed the past four weeks. I’m planning on starting up again this week, but have several days worth of lessons to do first. The study is interesting so far, although quite different from her previous studies that I’ve done. I don’t really care for the edginess of the production and the workbook. I know why they did it that way (because the study has a lot to do with culture and being influenced by culture ala Daniel, his buddies and the Babylonian culture), but I still prefer something a little more lovely to look at.

Today the temperatures are supposed to be in the 60’s! Yippee! We plan on opening the windows to enjoy some fresh air and taking Caroline out in her stroller for some much needed sunshine and fresh air as well. 🙂

It looks like I’m the first commenter…that would be a first…and as of now, I’m commenting as “aussietigger1980″…I’ve noticed there are two Kristy commenters and it’s too confusing. 😀

For the real comment: Wow! A month already! Doesn’t time fly!!! She’s cute. 🙂

Wow, Sallie. Is it just the lighting or does that precious little child have some beautiful strawberry blonde hair? That’s a thick head of hair! 🙂

While I’ve never had a baldie, the jury’s still out as to what color my new daughter’s hair will be… it’s growing V-E-R-Y slowly.

But it looks like you have some action on that sweet baby’s head! So what is it? red? auburn? strawberry blonde? Or just lighting that makes it look that way?

I know you must be lovin it whatever color it is!

Jessica – This answer is WAY overdue, but I think it was just the lighting at that time. It really isn’t reddish, but it does keep going more and more golden blond as the weeks go by. 🙂
