For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose one of you goes to his friend at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, because a friend of mine has come to me on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him.’
And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Do not bother me. My door is already shut, and my children and I are in bed. I cannot get up to give you anything.’
I tell you, even though he will not get up to provide for him because of his friendship, yet because of the man’s persistence, he will get up and give him as much as he needs.
So I tell you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened
What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets.

Deliberately choosing isn’t a phrase you hear used often. In some cases, it’s because people have been convinced they don’t have a choice. Instead, they go with the flow whether it is at work, church, school, or the neighborhood barbecue. It’s easier to fit in and not make waves by choosing to deliberately do or say something that will alienate you from those around you.
In other cases, people believe themselves to be so harried and harassed they are convinced they don’t have the energy to make deliberate choices. So they also go with the flow.
Whatever the reason, the result is the same. By not deliberately choosing, you are still choosing. You are choosing to let others direct your life, direct your children, direct your church, direct your vocation, etc. By choosing to not speak up, to not acknowledge something beyond the acceptable narrative, you are deliberately choosing the path of least resistance – even if it doesn’t align with your beliefs and convictions.
It’s always worthwhile to ask ourselves if it’s time to work on deliberately choosing in some part of life. Is there a situation where we’ve been going with the flow and we sense God is calling us to stop? Have we been going along to get along because we’re weary, but now we realize we can’t do it any longer? Are there choices we need to deliberately make in order to have some aspect of life better aligned with our faith in Christ?
We probably all have some part of our life where we would benefit from making deliberate choices beginning today. If you need additional inspiration, here are a few of my posts related to deliberately choosing.
May God bless you as you make deliberate choices in the days ahead.

Plans continue for the coronation of Charles to be King Charles III. Interestingly enough, there are three reasons he absolutely should not be crowned monarch. I’m going to offer a simple list today. You can dig more on any that interest you.
First, Charles’ decades-long, intimate friendship with notorious pedophile Jimmy Savile should cast serious doubt on his ability to lead for multiple potential reasons. It either shows a clear lack of judgement or else a willingness to look the other way. Or worse. Just do a search. There are reams of articles.
Second, Charles has sworn deep loyalty to the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, Build Back Better, and The Great Reset. He’s been one of the foremost proponents of the entire toxic, satanic mixture.
How can a man take an oath to stand for his people when he has a deep allegiance to an organization whose goal is to create a world where nations do not exist in any meaningful way and power is formally consolidated into the hands of a few? Just do a few searches for Prince Charles and Build Back Better, Prince Charles and the Great Reset, etc. Here’s a sample from Prince Charles calls for ‘vast military-style campaign’ to achieve ‘fundamental economic transition’:
In his Monday speech, Prince Charles said, “We need a vast military-style campaign to marshal the strength of the global private sector,” noting that the private sector has “trillions at its disposal, far beyond global GDP, and, with the greatest respect, beyond even the governments of the world’s leaders.”
“It offers the only real prospect of achieving fundamental economic transition,” he added.
The article points out:
Military campaign means top-down planning, executing, controlling. Communist economic system: Planned by a central authority and organized along a top-down chain of command.

I encourage you to click over and read that entire article, not just the quote I put here. Truly understand what these people want and what Charles is one of the biggest advocates for. How can he objectively look out for the interests of “his” people when he is a sworn globalist promoting the most dystopian of visions?
Third, Charles has expressed that he does not wish to take an oath to be the defender of The Faith. This is apparently an ongoing discussion even while events are being planned. Yes, the future monarch apparently does not wish to recognize the Christian faith is the basis of his crown, Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, and that Christianity is by its very definition an exclusive faith. He wishes to be a defender of all faiths because he is a globalist.
That doesn’t work in a constitutional monarchy that has for centuries derived its legitimacy from the belief that the king or queen serves because God has put him or her in that position. The Church of England is largely apostate at this point, now teaching outright heresy in many areas. If they allow Charles to change the wording of the service and essentially eliminate Jesus Christ as the head of the church, I would not stand anywhere near any of these people. I wouldn’t want to get struck by the lightning bolt.
Charles should not be King. I have no idea if William would be any better. He may be as much of a globalist as his father. He may also reject salvation in Jesus Christ as the only way to our Heavenly Father. From things I’ve read, I get the sense that may be true. If both Charles and William reject Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation, the monarchy is officially dead. It may still function on some level, but it will have abdicated its spiritual function to the enemy of Jesus Christ. They either chose to follow Jesus Christ and the faith or they reject it. You either serve Jesus Christ or you serve his enemy. There is no third option in this world, even if people don’t realize it.
The subjects of the crown are about to realize the seriousness of these choices.
