Allie Beth Stuckey Can’t Win

There are two ways you could read that title. Both would be correct.

  • Allie Beth Stuckey Can’t Win (can’t catch a break)
  • Allie Beth Stuckey Can’t Win (will lose this “battle”)

So just ten days ago I wrote No Church Home For Some Gifted Christian Women which was about Allie Beth Stuckey being attacked for speaking at a women’s conference. If you haven’t read it, please do because it provides context for this post.

Her sin this time? She spoke about the problem of p**n a bit too directly to men on a public stage.

I’ll let you watch this take by the Evangelical Dark Web (EDW). Although we would differ on many things, I follow him because he does a good job of keeping me informed of the big battles on Twitter/X now that I’ve left.

There’s so much I could say about this in terms of what she said, why people are piling on, and even how EDW frames this (girl boss). I’ll refrain for the moment.

But this is why I keep saying that conservative Christian women will be forced to make a choice.

  • Those who want to remain in the conservative-leaning institutional churches and denominations will be forced to knuckle under to more and more restrictions regarding what women can and cannot do.
  • Those who believe God gives gifts to men and women to use for the edification of the Body of Christ will be forced to probably move to home and organic churches that believe similarly.

There is going to be very little gray area in the coming years.

Will there be biblical churches who manage to navigate this without going off the deep end? Of course. If you are in one that manages to thread the needle in the coming years, count yourself very blessed.

But the angry Christian men want their proverbial pound of flesh and it’s obvious if you are paying attention.

Let me know what you think about what’s happening to Allie Beth Stuckey in the comments.

Update: Make sure you see this comment from me after you watch this.

You know what’s weird about all this lately for me personally?

I wasn’t even a follower of Charlie Kirk or Allie Beth Stuckey.

I knew who they were and had watched clips, but neither one of them were on my list of people I followed to be informed.

Never thought I would be writing multiple posts about these two and trying to figure out Erika Kirk in the Forum.

Life is weird, full of twists and turns.

This is why I don’t want to be platformed by anyone and I’ve never made any serious efforts to achieve that.

I truly have no desire for any group or organization to approve of what I’m saying. As soon as you openly affiliate with a particular group, their baggage becomes your baggage. Their views about controversial topics attach themselves to you whether you agree with them or not. I don’t want that at all at this stage of my life and ministry.

This is why I’ve developed my own little home on the web where I can write what I want, interact with people peacefully in the comments, etc. God can bring the people here as He sees fit. He’s been doing that for 20+ years.

Allie Beth Stuckey is not free. I don’t say that with a negative tone in any way. Just a simple statement of fact. She has to deal with The Blaze (Mormon), sponsors, her publisher, and her business/personal network that opens up speaking opportunities. Maybe in her mind it is all worth it because she gets to reach more people. Eventually, I think that has to wear on you as a woman.

Unless you have the ability to do what Tucker or Candace or even Nick Fuentes is doing, you are always going to be beholden to whoever controls the money. Just ask Charlie Kirk.

That’s why I can’t figure out why Matt Walsh hasn’t left The Daily Wire. He is so far beyond them that they are just holding him back at this point.

Anyway, this wasn’t one of the key takeaways I had when I watched this, but thought about it while eating my lunch.

Interesting video. What she did say is true from a feminine perspective. She can’t tell it from a male perspective. And she did call men out which to me is a good thing. Charlie Kirk called men out on it. Allie Beth even has said she does not want to be another Charlie Kirk because she can’t and will only do what God has called her to do. She was good friends with Charlie Kirk.

She does believe God has called her to reach more people. I listen to some of her podcasts, the one’s that interest me. If God has called Allie Beth to speak where men won’t step up, then she is called to do it. This pouncing on her and what she does and says lately is ridiculous. I have to agree it probably wears on her as a woman. I don’t think this is the first time she has been attacked for what she said or her actions.

Truth is truth. Whether it comes out of her mouth or someone else’s, it’s still the truth. Allie Beth tried to couch it nicely, speaking as a woman from a woman’s perspective, while imploring the Christian men to lead. They STILL got upset with her.

The ONLY way these men will be happy is when they shut the women down completely. Look at the one tweet where the man talked about her taking funds and opportunities that should be going to men.

I do believe there are women out there who are unqualified and spreading unbiblical messages. They should not be given a platform because they are not gifted and/or are spreading error. Allie Beth doesn’t fit that paradigm in this situation. Everything she said was true, but she still gets dismissed as a “girl boss” which is meant to be demeaning.

Is it appropriate for a Christian man to use that kind of derogatory secular term for a sister in Christ? No, it’s not. But like I said in my other post, these men aren’t thinking in those terms. They are thinking in terms of conquering all women who made men’s lives miserable for decades due to feminism. Even if you rejected feminism as a Christian woman, you are still part of the collective problem and will not get a pass. These men are focused on shutting women up and taking control. They really don’t care about their sisters in Christ. They don’t think of them that way. They think of women in the Body of Christ as a problem to be resolved.

I commented on a comment (by a woman) from that video, giving a reasonable opinion, agreeing with her comment. The next reply in that thread was a man who went hard and said, “We do not need your opinion.” to her, invoking “Paul said he did not permit a woman to teach. We know he did not teach any other practice. He died with no other instruction. Yes, men listening to her are party to her sin.” The hard callousness of these people grieves me.

I went and read those comments which are mostly negative. Someone speaks the truth! All they are concerned about is that it’s a woman! Oh my! And so if a man spoke the truth it would be better? These people are a piece of work and make me angry.

Your quote “Yes, men listening to her are party to her sin.” ” is what they think. One person called her evil and sinful. This is just horrible. I can’t even repeat what someone else said minimizing p*rn. All because the truth comes from a woman. This is just horrible and sad. Maybe start looking at the truth of scripture and what is sinful no matter who it comes from!

I know some people think I’m probably exaggerating about how bad it is in these circles.

Here’s your perfect example and it will only take five minutes of your time.

Just copy/paste this link, remove the spaces I inserted, and listen to the first five minutes. (I did not subject myself to any more of it.)

There is no way I’m giving this a direct link or an embed credit.

This is just gross and demeaning towards women. Treating them like they are dumb and can’t think for themselves. I couldn’t watch this guy before, I can’t watch him now. The comments are just so appreciative. I don’t think this is how God wants women treated.

He has 126,000 subscribers on YouTube. He has a very devoted following, especially of younger men. That’s why I write about all these related topics because these younger men will be coming up into the pastoral ranks. So many Christians and churches just don’t realize what’s happening and will be blindsided by it.

What’s ironic is that he paid a handsome sum to do a lengthy promo/interview thing with Allie Beth back a couple of years ago. IIRC is was many thousands of dollars. He did it to grow his channel. I’ve seen the video, but don’t know if I can find it.

He’s been on my radar for some time because it seems like a train wreck waiting to happen. His fake “calm and reasonable” voice creeps me out.

You know, what makes this any different than a typical leftist reaction? Seeing Trump do something right but not being able to give him credit because “he’s Trump”. Same principle. Something good or true is being done but it’s “Orange man bad” or “A woman said it.” It’s not about what was said or done, it’s the messenger.

These men are obsessed with authority. Many of them truly think of women as lesser. They do not view women in the church as their sisters in Christ. They view them as less.

And they are angry. I don’t think people realize yet the visceral anger so many of these “Christian” men have toward women.

      It’s really bad.

A Christian Nation

"The real object of the first amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity; but to exclude all rivalry among christian sects, and to prevent any national ecclesiastical establishment, which should give to a hierarchy the exclusive patronage of the national government."

Joseph Story (Associate Justice of the Supreme Court), Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States (1833), § 1871.
