I’m going to recommend this lengthy 2013 documentary with a few caveats.

First, you must watch the entire thing to benefit from it. All of it, past the initial end credits, etc. If you only watch a few hours and then stop, you will not receive the full value. It took me a number of days to complete my viewing, but if I hadn’t finished it I would have missed some of the best content.

Second, parts of it are about war and so they are visually, emotionally, and psychologically upsetting. I had to look away at times. A few times I had to stop because it was physically painful to watch. In addition, part of the video at the end is about the total depravity and debauchery of Berlin prior to the war. In short, it’s not a PG documentary.

There is a list of specific reasons I decided to watch this when someone recommended it on Gab. There were different threads and ideas that kept popping up in my life over the past few months and I thought this documentary might offer an additional perspective on some of them.

• General Patton saying that the USA fought the wrong enemy in World War 2 and his untimely/unusual death shortly after speaking about such topics.
• The incredibly uneven handling of the Holodomor versus the Holocaust as taught in history, entertainment, etc. (I would bet a lot of people reading this have never even heard of the Holodomor. Isn’t that interesting? Compare Holodomor movies/films list with Holocaust movies/films list.)
• The oft-cited remark that “All wars are bankers’ wars” and the situation with the central banks at the moment.
• The oft-cited observations that “Isn’t it interesting how the good guys always win” and “Winners write the history we’re taught.”
• The cultural parallels of that time in Germany with our current situation in the United States (and the West in general).
• The current situation in Ukraine.
• The now obvious truth that we have been lied to about many important historical events even in the past 150 years. Is this any different and, if so, in which ways?
• The fact that the one event you are not allowed to question or even really discuss is closely linked to this man. You are not allowed to discuss it to the point that you can go to prison in multiple countries for simply questioning the accuracy of the official narrative. Why the absolute hardline on this one historical event that is not applied to any other event in world history?

I’ve watched this twice. The first time, I kept in mind “They are doing their best to make Hitler look good. Which is true, somewhat. The second time, I researched many things as I went. I spent about 3 days, 8 hours each, and found this to be very Accurate.

I’m glad I watched it. I’m not going to take the time to go through it again as this person did because there is another related series I also want to watch. However, there is a lengthy list of sources used at the end of the film if you want to follow-up by doing your own research on anything that was covered.

I’m not providing a review or posting my thoughts. Truthfully, I’m still processing after finishing it this morning. It’s not something you simply watch and move on with your life. It covered many topics of which I had no knowledge. As an American, I found some of the content related to the United States truly disturbing.
