I put most of this together a few days ago and intended on waiting until something definite happened. It looks like this is going to get dragged out. As of this moment, Jussie Smollett is refusing to talk to police again. But if CNN and other MSM outlets are reporting that he allegedly hired two guys to attack him and the entire thing is a hoax, I’m thinking it is probably true.

So I’m going to post this. If new details develop, I will gladly correct whatever is incorrect here.

Jussie Smollett Attack Case and Trump Derangement Syndrome

This is the man in question. Jussie Smollett is a black gay man on a popular television show. If I’m remembering all the details off the top of my head (and correct me if I’m wrong), he was allegedly attacked in Chicago at 2:00 a.m. in sub-zero weather by two men wearing MAGA hats. The men shouted, “This is MAGA country!” They put a noose on him. They beat him up and then just stopped. Like the Covington thing, this never seemed right from the beginning.

We joke around our house about Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) and how people blame Trump for everything. But I fully expect at some point someone is going to try to use it as a form of mental disorder to get out of a crime.

It seems odd that someone whose career was going as well as @JussieSmollett's would risk it all to stage this hoax, until you read his timeline where Smollett appeared OBSESSED with #TDS. Trump Derangement Syndrome makes you do some crazy irrational stuff apparently.

Immediate Virtue Signaling Support of Smollett

Naturally, his story was instantly believed by The Left and Democrats because he is black and gay. Kamala Harris and Corey Booker both immediately issued statements in support. Now that it appears it may be a carefully orchestrated hoax, they both are cautioning people to wait for all the facts to come out.

Changing Narrative – Now It’s Bad It Didn’t Happen

Now that it appears he was not brutally attacked by Trump supporters, the narrative has shifted. Now that people on The Left can’t hate Trump supporters because of this attack, they are upset that people are glad the hoax was exposed. They claim that people are acting gleefully that it was a hoax.

Yes, because Trump and his supporters are ALWAYS to blame. ALWAYS. Even if this guy staged his own attack and blamed MAGA-wearing thugs, Trump is still to blame. And instead of being glad that no one really perpetrated a hate crime against a black gay man, people on The Left are upset that those who were skeptical all along about this are happy the truth came out.
