I told David this evening while doing the dishes that I realized what I will be cultivating online in 2024. It is fellowship with faithful and bold Christians who will openly and matter-of-factly speak biblical truth.

After three years of researching and sharing about an increasingly insane and unfaithful culture in order to help others make sense of what is going on, I reached my max this week. As is so often the case for people, the last straw was something rather small after a prolonged build-up.

The tipping point was a blogger I’ve followed off and on for years announcing that her son was now her “daughter.” (If you happen to know who I am talking about, please do NOT identify her or her blog.) We as readers were expected, of course, to be supportive of this adult child’s mental illness because it makes him and the family happy. (I will not say “her” because I do not speak lies against God’s created order.)

It was like all the insanity of the past many years descended on that one moment and I was just DONE.

Done with wading through profanity.

Done with scrolling by perverse memes.

Done with reading stories about children mutilated by their insane liberal mothers.

Done with stories of “conservative” gay men purchasing defenseless boy babies through surrogates.

Done with being visually assaulted with endless profanity on products while simply trying to do Christmas shopping.

Done with watching people fall to the intense covid gaslighting and not mentioning the massive excessive death numbers for fear of hurting people’s feelings.

Done with watching Christians and “Christians” pretend that the sexual madness overtaking two generations of Americans is perfectly fine and we just have to be kind and loving.

Done with watching the slow and consistent roll-out of the idea of white genocide.

I finally reached the moment of being done.

Surely I cannot be the only person who is done on an entirely different level as we head into 2024.

Surely there are others who have reached the point of knowing they need to speak the truth consistently and out loud no matter how distressing or offensive others around them might find it.

Surely I am not the only one who feels a greater need to be bold for Jesus Christ and the freedom He offers to those whose lives are being devastated by one lie after another?
