I decided I would wait out the weekend before even reading about the flap over President Trump’s comments re: Baltimore.

It always takes at least 48 hours for the madness to end and the truth to start to filter out. I’ve learned to just wait for the initial Twitter-fueled furor to run its course so the truth comes out.

Ben Shapiro does a really good recap of what happened and the background facts. Shapiro covers all sorts of press from recent previous years that say the exact same thing Trump said including The Baltimore Sun, Bermie Sanders. PBS, and one of the mayors of Baltimore. The Baltimore Sun has written many articles saying far worse than anything Trump said. PBS did an entire documentary about the rat problem in Baltimore.

This is why people don’t trust the media.

The media said everything that Trump said – and far worse. But because Trump said it, it is all of the sudden false.
