Last year she shared her story of how she unwittingly married into and then escaped the Two By Twos. If you’ve never heard of the 2×2 group, then you are in good company. I had never heard of them either. There is an extensive Wikipedia entry about them: Two By Twos. They also go by Friends and Workers.
Merissa shares her story below. Her husband, David Alink, travels around the country and records the stories of people who have broken free from the Two By Two organization. He shares them on his YouTube channel at David Alink.

I forgot to mention that the people that go to this hidden group do not like to be called “two by two”. They self identify as “professing”, “friends” and amongst themselves they use the word “The Truth”. The last is code word for I belong and everyone else is going to hell.

Saw an interview by Allie Beth Stuckey yesterday where she interviewed a woman who was a part of this group in Australia and her future husband at the time influenced her and prayed she would get out. Interview was about 7-12 months ago. Very interesting and how she came to Christ and got married to her husband a year later. Loved this story.
