Yes, looking interesting although some swing states may drag this out. Would be awesome to see a huge win for Trump and Congress! Even in blue CO, it looks like ranked choice voting may fail. Even that would be a small victory for a blue state.
That’s great about the ranked choice voting. I know that is really bad for any state that adopts it.

I hear it’s grim and quite at Harris “party” and people are leaving. So much “joy”! Would love not to see many of those people again.

What a campaign!
I’m staying in Waiting mode, after looking at the electoral map. Minnesota will probably go to Harris; there is a large reddish county that is holding back on its results, but there is a bigger blue county that is too. I can picture Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona all going to Harris as their larger cities weigh in and tip the scales. Democrats are online organizing ballot curing outreach, which I don’t remember seeing in previous elections.
This is far, far closer than it ought to be.
In my house we’ve been having fun comparing the sizes of Harris’ and Trump’s heads in the ABC election coverage…did you know that Harris is 6 foot 10 and a professional NBA player?
In the back of my mind I’m still thinking about this…
That hasn’t happened so I do wonder if some negative twist is still coming…
CNN doesn’t want to show me the electoral college map with which states still have a lot of counting to do, and NPR doesn’t want to show me the popular vote totals.
Trump lost Minnesota by 140,000, which is about half of what his shortfall was against Biden in 2020. Trump gained in 2024, and Harris failed to keep all of Biden’s voters–in Walz’s home state!
I am starting to be happy, but Trump is going to have to move quickly, and my neighbors are not going to like it.
80% of vote is in and Trump is leading in Michigan!
I saw Bannon talking with Hoekstra about taking over the Michigan GOP for 7 months. It sounds like he has started whipping things into shape.
We desperately could use someone like that in CO!
And there is still a big faction of the grassroots precinct delegates that detest him. The grassroots is so fractured. Whoever orchestrated the chaos was sure successful. If MI goes Trump that might help things – I hope!

Now, what’s next? What do the next 90 days look like? Will the Dems go nuts? Will they still go after him legally and for his head? He clearly won the electoral college and popular vote. No denying that. I can’t imagine them sitting back and doing nothing.
That’s the million dollar question…
