The problem with trying to comment on topics such as the NBA’s total hypocrisy on China and Hong Kong is that things develop so quickly that it’s hard to stay current. But this development is so over the top ridiculous and disgusting that I have to write a post about it.
The NBA pulled an All-Star Game out of Charlotte because they didn’t like bathroom laws in North Carolina. Teams in the NBA have repeatedly snubbed the President of the United States because of Woke Social Justice Reasons.
They are incredibly willing to stand for something – as long as it costs them nothing.
And yet they willingly look the other way regarding a communist country.

This entity has no interest in the best interests of the United States. They don’t care about the oppressive politics of China. They only care about one thing.

I’ve been appalled at the reactions of American companies. Did you see Blizzard confiscated winnings from a tournament from a player for a pro-Hong Kong tweet?
It had me considering canceling subscriptions and other things over that. Thoroughly disgusted by Americans bowing to Chinese money.
I did see coverage about the Blizzard thing, but wasn’t familiar with the company prior to that.
The only thing these people care about is money and that includes the NBA. Each family has to make their own choices, but hitting these companies in the pocketbook is the only thing that will bring about change.
