I’m Sallie – wife, mother, and happy warrior for Christ. Our little family lives a quiet and cozy life of home education, self-employment, and pithy exchanges. I share what I’ve learned to help others navigate this world with truth, beauty, peace, hope, and joy. And I like to laugh. A lot. Welcome!

Dear Sallie
Oh my, I am so enjoying your chats. My hubby and I have been married 55 years. He was always the provider and I the keeper of our home. My hubby has been retired for many years now. We both help one another each and every day. My hubby is quite masculine, but soft hearted and caring. I consider myself quite feminine, quiet and soft hearted. Before my hubby retired, I would tend to our home, our little plot of land and of course taking good care of our son and my hubby. There were times I needed help with chores here at home and he was always willing to help me. Now that he is retired and we both have aged and move slower, we both help one another. He helps me inside and I help him outside. We are a team and we love working together to make our home a pleasant and safe place to be. We are content. I remember having older Christian women as mentors and I still cherish special friendships where we are there for one another. I pray that I have been and will continue to be a mentor to younger women. Thank you so much for caring and sharing.
Simple Blessings, Teri
