Yesterday I shared a bit about what I am doing with Caroline at home regarding learning. Today I want to ask a question. I’m sure I’m not the only one facing this. What do you do with a child who won’t play by herself and is bored with something within five minutes?
Several days ago Kat left a comment asking if I would share how I organize Caroline’s day, what we are doing with her learning, etc. So, for what it is worth, here is where we are right now with Caroline as a three year old. And this is honesty at its finest.
Setting the scene: Caroline is eating banana bread for her before bath snack. She goes to get out of her chair and give a bite to Daddy and somehow falls onto the floor, hard.
Caroline (crying hard): I need you, I need you, I need you!
Little ones seem to all go through a barn phase. I think it’s the combination of the red color and the cute animals. For whatever reason, it’s a predictable stage when you need to find barn-themed books for kids.
