Oh, Sallie. When will we learn?
AOC is ignorant of history, a product of poor education both in K-12 and at BU. How do I know this? It started when I attended school in NYC, 70s and 80s, and finished in my two years at BU. When I consciously chose to be educated, I stopped explaining or criticizing things I’d never heard before, until I could form an EDUCATED opinion. She didn’t get that message apparently.
She may be highly knowledgeable in her degrees, but I also recall taking education classes with teaching students who could not do simple math … All to say, if she sticks to her knowledge base she may be okay.
(But wait, she has a degree in economics? All is lost. I’m embarrassed to say I’m from Queens these days.)
