Hi [subscriber:firstname | default:friends],

This week, I am going to let Helen H. Lemmel's words from 1922 be my word to you. If you aren't familiar with this, it's from the hymn Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.

O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Refrain:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Persevere each day by keeping your eyes on Jesus.

Some of the most encouraging words I've read come from the devotional Streams in the Desert. I have many Streams in the Desert posts featuring selections from the book. I hope you will take the time to read some and be blessed this weekend.

I created a Newsletter Archive this week so if you are a new subscriber, you can easily go back and read the previous editions.

Are you on Gab? If so, please stop by and say hello! I'm at Sallie Borrink.

I continue to add a variety of interesting content to the Forums. I hope you will stop by and take a look at the topics that interest you.
This week's featured marketplace is WriteShop - They offer an extensive collection of writing curriculum for all ages. If you haven't checked them out recently, you may be surprised by how much more they not provide for homeschoolers!
Below is my most recent post in case you missed it. I don't include the Morning Hope and Eventide Blessings posts since they would make this letter to long.

You can subscribe to real-time notifications by using the red circle with the white bell in the lower left corner of my site. You'll get a little pop-in notification in your browser each time I post something new.
