Here’s a story that illustrates perfectly what I’ve been posting about the past few days. Walmart is apparently gaming the H-1B system just like all of the big corporations and tech companies. This is why your White son with a college degree and a desire to work hard at building a career can’t even get an entry level job in his field.
This is evil in so many ways. The people doing this to American citizens are choosing to do evil. President Trump and Congress must come down hard on all of the companies doing this. ALL OF THEM. They need to end this. Now.

We’re in the second or third generation of economically-displaced Americans. There is no point in taking on college debt if you’re going to be poor afterward anyway.
I’ve heard indirectly from a software developer who was hired by a corporation that the work is as much office politics as it is coding. Some corporations hire small companies to do big parts of the real work.
I think our white sons are being displaced in the job market whether or not they have a college degree. Due to the current culture and other factors.
It is true that larger companies are hiring smaller companies or contractors to do large parts of the big work. My husband with his small business does that very thing. That is how we make our living.
