The Full-Out Destruction Phase of The Fourth Turning

In case it hasn’t been glaringly apparent in recent weeks, we’re in the full-out destruction phase of The Fourth Turning.

This is when it gets even worse before it gets better.

Is there a single significant institution in our country that hasn’t been revealed to be infiltrated by evil and, in many cases, rotten to the core?

In all seriousness, name one significant institution in our country that has not been corrupted to a significant degree. There are probably some, but they are the exception and not the rule.

How much do you trust the leadership and employees of these various institutions?

  • Government (at all levels)
  • Financial
  • Education (at all levels)
  • Business
  • Media
  • Religious
  • Medical

For most of these institutions that make up important parts of our daily lives, the trust level of the average person is frighteningly low to non-existent.

A country cannot thrive when its citizens suspect everything is a lie or swindle to rob them in some way whether it is financially, emotionally, politically, or spiritually.

The Fourth Turning means that institutions are torn down so they can be remade into something better for The First Turning. I can’t imagine a sane person thinking any of these institutions are healthy and worth saving as they currently exist.

Are these institutions rooted in truth and goodness and beauty? Yes, some of them were originally designed and intended to be such. They have lost those key elements as they have been infiltrated by those seeking to destroy our culture. But the foundational values on which they were founded are still there. They must be recovered.

Other institutions are not worth saving. At all. There is no reforming some of them because they were deliberately created for our destruction. They should be thrown into the ash heap of history.

The citizens of this country need to realize that after the tearing down there must be a building up. The remaking and building up isn’t going to happen in a weekend or a month or even a year. In some cases, the rebuilding will require concerted effort for many years. People who have gained power and money by infiltrating these institutions are not simply going to walk away. The good citizens who understand the value of America will need to assert themselves and demand that justice be done.

We are in the midst of a truly historic event. Each person reading this needs to dig deep and determine how to contribute to the saving and rebuilding of the United States of America. It is an exceptional country worth saving.

But it’s going to be work. A lot of work.

The alternative is allowing the worst people in the country (and the world) to further take over and destroy the good, the beautiful, and the true that still remains in America.

In my opinion, that isn’t an option.

For 20+ years, I’ve been writing about following Jesus Christ and making choices based on what is true, beautiful, and eternal. Through purposeful living, self-employment, and homeschooling, our family has learned that freedom comes from a commitment to examine all of life and think for yourself.

I hope you will join me here where we discuss all of life each day.

A Christian Nation

"The real object of the first amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity; but to exclude all rivalry among christian sects, and to prevent any national ecclesiastical establishment, which should give to a hierarchy the exclusive patronage of the national government."

Joseph Story (Associate Justice of the Supreme Court), Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States (1833), § 1871.

countenance: To favor; to encourage by opinion or words; To encourage; to appear in defense (Websters Dictionary 1828)
