We have a chance of snow flurries today for the first time this fall. Just the slightest mention of snow sends Caroline into spasms of joy and anticipation. An incredibly long run-on sentence comes tumbling out of her mouth as she begins verbalizing everything she can’t wait to do in the snow.

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to enjoy the simple things of life (like the anticipation of the first snowfall) through the eyes of a child.
