Sallie, the pictures are so beautiful! I just love them. I also enjoyed listening to your recap of past episodes and topics.
You are right that we ALL must intentionally work to rebuild America. I have given this a lot of thought and actually made a list of what I would like to do (and am actively doing) to right the ship.
Here are just a few:
1.) I homeschool my children. Getting children away from government indoctrination and propaganda is worth the sacrifice a million times over.
2.) I made a list of our local, state, and national leaders. My children and I pray over them to make Godly decisions and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they don’t already know Him as their Savior.
3.) This goes along with #1, but we teach our children to love America and to understand our history. We have many conversations about current events, past events, and what the best steps forward look like. I choose curriculum very carefully and we seek out experiences (field trips, parades, etc) that encourage our love for Our Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. I have a variety of ages here at home, so it’s all on an age-appropriate level of course.
I look forward to reading what others do!
Warmly,
Lauren

Hi Lauren,
That is a great list of ideas. I would guess most of us don’t pray specifically for our state and local leaders. We’re all hyper-focused on national people and events, but the local impact is significant. Thank you for the reminder. We have our primary next week and I think many people are taking it more seriously than they did in the past.
