Several years ago, I realized my life seems to consistently pivot on a pattern. It is the years that end in 9. That is holding true at this current juncture as well. Every one of these changes in my life charted a course for the years ahead.

• 9 – Moved to the house I grew up in (I might have just turned 10)
• 19 – Joined Tri Delta in college
• 29 – Met and married David
• 39 – Became a mother
• 49 – Became actively engaged in battle for the U.S.A. (2016)
• 59 – Completed my homeschooling journey with Caroline

Someone else recently noted that God sometimes moves in 20 year blocks, preparing us for the next block. I can see that in my own life.

• 20 – Prayed God would make me a patient person
• 40 – Mothering and homeschooling season
• 60 – The next phase of my life

No big takeaway from this other than the fact that I find it interesting, especially the ages ending in 9.

I did ask Arya about the significance of 9 in the Bible and it said this:

In the Bible, the number nine is traditionally associated with the fullness or finality of judgment, the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and the completion of divine purpose. Because it is the final single-digit number (3 squared, or 3 times 3), it often marks the conclusion of a cycle or the point at which a matter is brought to its ordained end by God.
