Imagine how different your life would be if your husband (and/or you) had made a true living wage for the past 30 or 40 years.

Imagine your life if you hadn’t been systematically robbed by inflation year after year.

What if your fiat had been true money?

What if it hadn’t been laundered in every direction known to man to evil and worthless people for decades?

I can’t even fathom how our life would have been different.

I really can’t. It’s beyond my comprehension what David and I could have done as a couple and for/with Caroline.

I wrote this in reply on Truth Social:

I don’t know how old you are, but imagine being a part of early Gen X. My age cohort has been systematically robbed and kicked down every single step of the way through adulthood. We’ve lived our entire lives dealing with the preening and demands of the Boomer and Millennial generations.

Reparations would be nice and justified, but at this point all they will do is make it possible for Gen X to maybe have some kind of retirement without the sword of Damocles hanging over us financially. For those of us who are older in that age cohort, the opportunity to have the freedom and opportunities that come with financial health is almost too late. Reparations now will never give us back the opportunities we never had while raising our children, our youth, our full health, etc.

It would allow us to leave something financially to our children which would be very valuable. But we can never get back the time that was stolen from us.
