Grilled Pork Tenderloin Rub Recipe

My mom shared this recipe for grilled pork tenderloin rub and I made it for the first time this evening. YUM. So easy and great for these warm summer months.

Be sure to put this in a sealed bag when you put it in the refrigerator because it will give off juices as the rub sits.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin Rub

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp oregano leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 lbs. pork tenderloin

Directions

  1. Combine seasonings.
  2. Coat pork evenly with the rub.
  3. Refrigerate 30 minutes or up to 3 hours for stronger flavor.
  4. Lightly grease grill rack.
  5. Preheat grill to medium heat or use indirect heat method.
  6. Grill 30-35 minutes or until pork registers 160 degrees F with meat thermometer, turning occasionally.
  7. Remove from grill, cover with aluminum foil. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into thin slices.

Enjoy!

Hi Sallie, This is my first visit to your blog and I have really enjoyed reading some of your posts this afternoon. I came over from a comment you made on the discussion at True Womanhood. Isn’t it amazing how God can bring home Biblical principles through our position of parenting? Raising children of your own sheds a whole new light on God’s character and His love for us! I have added you to my bloglines so I can visit you again. Blessings to you and your husband as your raise your daughter for Christ! Diane

P.S. I posted under your recipe post as I could not get it to accept my post under the “discipline” post. I got an error when I tried to post that I must “answer the question”, however, it didn’t show a question for me to answer. Just thought you’d like to know. Looks like others didn’t have the same difficulty I did. 🙂 Diane
