There are two stories in the news that are connected directly to my Christian faith. One of them is the situation with TPUSA. I think this has tremendous future implications in the Christian church.

I don’t have dog in this fight. I wasn’t a TPUSA fan. You can see by my Erika Kirk post at the beginning of all this (Erika Kirk and the Complementarians) that I was relying on what other people were saying about her and their marriage. When people said that Charlie was going to be POTUS someday, I thought, “What?” I knew who he was, but he never remotely crossed my mind as a POTUS candidate at some point. I was not a follower or groupie. I knew basically nothing about Erika. TPUSA was too worldly and showy for my tastes while looking at it from a distance.

But even though TPUSA didn’t really matter to me personally, I do care now because what is happening to it is impacting Christians in significant ways. So I have been following it to a certain degree, especially since Con Inc. started going after Candace Owens.

The inexplicable rabid assault is what especially piqued my interest.

To be clear, I’m not a Candace Owens fan either. I’ve watched more of her content over the years than Charlie’s, but that’s not saying much. But the way the establishment has gone after her (and Tucker Carlson) made me look a bit more.

I am team Truth and anyone who has read here for any period of time knows that. I don’t care who speaks the Truth. The Truth is the Truth no matter who is saying it. So this isn’t about the personalities discussing the topic. It’s whether or not what she (or he) says rings true to me when I’m watching.

My 20 Observations

Here are 20 observations as I take in what has happened the past three months.

1. Charlie Kirk was about asking questions and digging for truth.
2. Virtually every public-facing person connected with TPUSA has been focused on avoiding, side-stepping, deflecting, and being forced into responding since Charlie died.
3. Virtually every public-facing person connected with TPUSA looks somewhere between uncomfortable to guilty as sin to me when they speak publicly.
4. The idea that the company Charlie founded is telling people to “stop” and basically shut up about trying to find the truth is so Orwellian it’s insane. If someone wrote this as a script, you would tell the person it’s too stupid to be believable.
5. Just as with Covid, we are being gaslit and lied to by the authorities and so-called experts. We are being instructed to deny the truth we can clearly see with our own eyes.
6. I saw and heard Charlie’s own words about Jewish donor pressure on the Megyn Kelly show just days before he died.
7. I know Charlie ordered a doge-style investigation and audit of TPUSA finances shortly before he was murdered. He had to have been concerned about the flow of money for which he was ultimately responsible.
8. The story about Charlie’s neck being strong enough to stop or deflect the bullet is insulting to our intelligence. How many hunters and gun specialists have to point this out before they stop trying to convince us that Charlie was simply super human in his neck?
9. I suspect Frank Turek is being used as a useful idiot. I don’t mean that as an insult to Frank. I don’t think he knew what was going on, but he lends a veneer of credibility to the entire thing.
10. Erika Kirk repels me. The casket thing. The dabbing of tearless eyes. The gaudy rings. The skin-tight black pants. A YouTuber said she gives the Tammy Faye Baker vibe without the smeared mascara. Listening to her is like listening to Obama. I could barely listen to him for more than 10-15 seconds because he was so obviously false.
11. There is something seriously wrong behind Erika’s eyes. I have seen similar comments about her eyes over and over and over again online. The more she is out there doing interviews, the more people become unsettled with her.
12. I think Charlie’s life became some version of The Truman Show. He wasn’t born into it, but his life mission and company were quietly infiltrated and slowly taken over.
13. I think Erika is/was Charlie’s handler. Many powerful men marry their handler and have no idea.
14. I think Charlie was naive and trusting. Some of those trusted people betrayed him.
15. Erika needs to pick a lane. She’s either the CEO of an incredibly well-funded organization who owes it to the donors to give straight answers about what is going on OR she’s a grieving widow who wants to have her “one thing” for her family. You can’t have it both ways, but I think that is part of their plan to deflect legitimate criticism and questions.
16. Erika dramatically forgives the (unproven) killer almost instantly, but is visibly and viscerally angry at the people trying to get to the truth about her husband’s murder. Make that make sense.
17. A lot of the people hating on Candace Owens are fervent Zionists. They are not able to look objectively at what she is discussing and reporting because they have classified her as a Jew-hater.
18. There is a long list of problems with every aspect of the event and investigation. More than I can list here. Why was the crime scene tampered with? Why was there no ambulance on site? The Egyptian planes? And on and on and on.
19. Why did Charlie Kirk think he was going to be murdered the night before he was and tell multiple people this? Why did Erika Kirk deny this?
20. TPUSA has taken an increasingly pro-Israel and pro-Jewish turn since Charlie was murdered despite the fact that he clearly said he was moving in the opposite direction.

My 5 Speculations

These all fall under the title of speculation. I can’t prove any of them. Just thoughts in the back of my mind as I observe what is going on.

1. I suspect Candace knows far more than she has let on. I think she is giving the people at TPUSA enough rope to hang themselves, one inch at a time. That’s why she said very little about Erika until Erika came out and blasted her this week. If Candace had said anything remotely negative about Erika the past three months, she would have been automatically labeled the villain.
2. I expect Candace is also being fed false information to trip her up and/or make her look stupid.
3. I am concerned for Frank Turek’s safety if they decide his talking about his experience that day and with Charlie is a liability. I could be wrong, but I don’t suspect him of any wrongdoing. I think he was a genuine friend and apologetics mentor to Charlie who was kept out of the loop regarding reality at TPUSA.
4. Kash Patel has been a true disappointment. He is completely unconvincing whenever he discusses this investigation. I have wondered if his new girlfriend is his handler.
5. I said to David it’s possible Erika Kirk is drawing on her pageant and acting experience to present herself to the public. If she is really innocent of everything and that is what she is actually doing, someone who loves her needs to tell her to stop. She comes across as so incredibly fake and borderline evil when you look in her eyes.
6. I believe Candace loved Charlie (and I don’t mean that in a sinful way). I’m not sure Erika really did.
7. I truly hope that the Trump administration is handling this the way they are because it is part of a much bigger situation they are dealing with. Otherwise, it feels like they are being controlled by others. Nothing connected to this feels genuine or truthful.
