You Have a Right & Responsibility to Question Everything

I don’t have time to write many in-depth posts right now, but I want to say this.

Anyone – ANYONE – who is telling you not to ask questions but obediently fall in line with (insert the thing here) is NOT your friend.

Every one of us should question EVERYTHING right now. EVERYTHING.

I don’t care if it is a spouse, friend, family member, pastor, teacher, Christian leader, government official, or your saintly grandmother.

If someone is telling you that you must support a certain cause, situation, point of view, or whatever then you should be digging in twice as hard to find the truth and resist their demands that you fall in line.

The stuff I have seen said by Christians, “Christian leaders,” and/or so-called Conservatives is simply appalling.

I thought MeToo, BLM, and Covid exposed a lot of people. It did, but this situation in the Middle East has taken it to a completely different level. Some of these “influencers” and “leaders” have demonstrated, at best, they have a critical lack of discernment. But some of them have shown that deep down inside they are sick, deranged, out-of-their-freaking minds, demonically-influenced crazies.

QUESTION EVERYTHING you see and hear. You are being psyop-ed and traumatized by your government and the deep state 365/24/7 right now.

Please be very careful what coverage you read and especially what you watch. Do not underestimate the amount of trauma they are attempting to inflict on us to accomplish their goals. If you are watching stuff that is disrupting your sleep, giving you nightmares, making it difficult to focus on your home responsibilities, etc. TURN IT ALL OFF. Find a few ways to get snippets of news so you know generally what is going on, but STOP watching the traumatizing coverage. Please.

They want us traumatized and meekly submitting out of fear to whatever they have planned. You must be strong and stand against it. Put on the armor of God.

It’s incredible how much end times stuff is on the internet from Christians right now. So, much that I won’t watch ANY of them. Care about people’s relationship with the Lord, your own relationship with the Lord, put on the armor of God and fight the battle we are in. A huge spiritual battle going on. The insanity in this world is getting worse.

Thank you, Sallie. I couldn’t agree more. I was just trying to encourage a Christian coworker who’s sleep and life is in turmoil over watching the coverage of the Middle East conflict to do just that, turn it off. There are so many people who act like they know so much, and they are all talking at us.

When people realize how much trauma has been deliberately put upon American citizens for decades, average people won’t even be able to process it at first. Just learning the truth will be another trauma-inducing event.

    Stay close to the Lord.
    Put your armor on.
Pray Psalm 91 daily for you and your loved ones.

Thank you for this post. It confirms what I have needed for some time. My husband encouraged me to look into things, news, etc, myself and not rely on him to parrot what he was hearing and learning about. I tried but could not deal with what I was seeing and hearing – until I came across your website. You say Question Everything (Doing that now!), Turn It All Off (Did that but then what do I do?!), “Find a few ways to get snippets of news…Use my Proverbs 31 Newsfeed which will give you a glimpse of what is going on, but not abuse you”. For me, this is a Godsend and I have been reading, absorbing posts and information since the middle of April of this year. What you do is a huge help for me! I have not been put off by what you post and even find a lot of the “stuff” that is new to me quite interesting! So, I have “found” my news source and have taken to heart what you advise:

    Stay close to the Lord.
    Put your armor on.
Pray Psalm 91 daily for you and your loved ones.

And praying and singing the Name of Jesus Christ daily as well. What a difference it makes…He makes!

For 20+ years, I’ve been writing about following Jesus Christ and making choices based on what is true, beautiful, and eternal. Through purposeful living, self-employment, and homeschooling, our family has learned that freedom comes from a commitment to examine all of life and think for yourself.

I hope you will join me here where we discuss all of life each day.

A Christian Nation

"The real object of the first amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity; but to exclude all rivalry among christian sects, and to prevent any national ecclesiastical establishment, which should give to a hierarchy the exclusive patronage of the national government."

Joseph Story (Associate Justice of the Supreme Court), Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States (1833), § 1871.

countenance: To favor; to encourage by opinion or words; To encourage; to appear in defense (Websters Dictionary 1828)
