The Last First Day of Homeschooling

Today is our first day of the homeschool year.

Our last homeschool year.

The last first day of homeschooling.

Where did the time go?

The saying is so true.

The days are long, but the years are short.

Those of you who have been here from the beginning (2005) have now seen the entire process play out. Unwanted childlessness to baby to homeschool senior.

I thought I would share some of Caroline’s senior pictures to mark the day (with her permission). Enjoy!

For 20+ years, I’ve been writing about following Jesus Christ and making choices based on what is true, beautiful, and eternal. Through purposeful living, self-employment, and homeschooling, our family has learned that freedom comes from a commitment to thoughtfully examine all of life and think for yourself.
