I mentioned the Nephilim a number of times recently for a reason. Today I want to follow up on that with some videos and a few articles. I’m posting them in a rough order from low-key to most intense. The last article is the most powerful and it is intense. But it speaks in a profound way to what I think most of us are experiencing.

Those of us who are Christians have always believed that this life is a spiritual battle because the Bible makes that clear. However, I think many Christians don’t fully grasp what we are contending with at the moment. I’m still trying to sort out what I think about it all. I’ve read so much that I’ve not shared because I don’t want to advance ideas that are too far out there or wrong. But any Christian truly paying attention and asking for discernment and wisdom from the Lord can determine that we’ve moved way beyond what we experienced as Christians even just a few decades ago. The spiritual battle we are in now is overwhelming and intense.

We have moved into a time where people are openly using the word demonic to describe movements, people, and events. These aren’t even necessarily people who would call themselves Christians and yet they can identify it. People are discussing fallen angels. There is an increased fervency among Christians to understand the portions of Scripture that deal with related topics. (That’s another series of posts for another day.) Christian or not, people recognize that evil is right in their face at the moment. It’s undeniable even to those who have yet to bend the knee to Jesus Christ.

If you are weary, there is a reason for that. If you are emotionally exhausted to the point of numbness, tears, or blocking things out, there is a reason for that. I’ve discussed my own weariness here, but only some of the reasons. Some of it is exactly what is in the last article in this post.

I hope you find the content below helpful. These videos and articles probably won’t tell you anything profoundly new. That’s not why I’m posting them. I’m sharing them so you can see that people are rapidly waking up now and so you won’t feel so alone. This has been a lonely journey these past few years as we’ve watched the slowly growing devastation and waited for everyone else to catch up. I’m thankful I’ve been awake in all this, but it has been painful beyond words at time. I am weary in a way I never have been before (and I’ve been through some pretty emotionally intense and draining experiences in my life). I still think it’s going to get worse before it gets better because there are so many people who are just now waking up even this week. As I’ve said so many times, we haven’t even gotten to the really bad stuff yet. But I do think we are much closer to that critical moment of shifting – whatever that is going to look like.

Rhetoric about “demonic” influence and an existential, “spiritual” war has become a hallmark of right-wing punditry and Republican politics ​​ahead of the 2024 elections, as Christian nationalism grows in popularity among Republican voters. Language that demonizes and dehumanizes political opponents has been a staple of right-wing commentary for years, but these recent accusations are not simple rhetorical flourishes; a number of media figures have begun to warn their audiences about occult rituals from the left and supposed portals to hell from which demons would enter the Earth.

Many of us are weary at a deep soul level, and are experiencing the cumulative effect of micro-trauma, a kind of pervasive background hurt from the constant exposure to wickedness. The injuries are still disabling, just non-obvious and internal.
