Last week I had another setback with my neck and shoulders. I alternated the week between feeling mildly crummy and extremely crummy. It has settled into moderately crummy this week. It has really wiped me out and I just don’t feel like doing much of anything, including blogging. The more I stay away from the computer, the better I feel. I’m waiting right now to hear about a referral to a specialist.
We’ve also received a lot of bad news over the past two weeks about friends, family, clients and others we know. Lots of really sad stuff.
I know God has allowed this season of my life for a purpose. I can see that and trust that all things will work together for good because I belong to Him. But even though I can see God at work, it doesn’t diminish the weight of what is going on. Joseph trusted God and walked faithfully, but he still wanted to get out of prison. David loved the Lord, but he still wrote some powerful laments in the Psalms.
Until I start feeling better, I won’t be posting much at all other than maybe an occasional cut and paste of a Streams in the Desert that I find helpful or encouraging. I just don’t have the energy and the energy I do have needs to go to my family and my clients first.
If the Lord brings us to mind, we would certainly appreciate your prayers.
Thanks,
Sallie 🙂

Feel better Sallie!
Praying for you all, Sallie.
I’m praying for you. It is so hard not to be able to physically do even the easy stuff.
I know you will come through this but I also know it would be nice to have downstairs maids at this time. 😆
I’m so sorry, Sallie. I’ll be praying for you, especially for patience and encouragement with parenting a little one during this time.
Sallie, I will continue to pray for you, I hope the weather continues to be nice out there.

Take good care, you are in my thoughts.
Best wishes,
Laura
So sorry to hear that things aren’t going well. I’ll be praying for you. I too have noticed it just seems like there is too much sad news these days. Trying to focus on the good things going on…and praying.
I’m so sorry, Sallie.
Hope you are feeling better, and soon.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had another setback, Sallie. You’ll be in my prayers.
Praying for you!
I have had shoulder, neck and back pain since I was 9 years old. I hope that you can heal from you issues. I found one thing that really helped me out while going through PT was a lotion called Inflammation relief made my O’Malley and Potter in the “Feel Good Products” line.
I am not (and will never be) pain free but the lotion really helped get rid of this crazy inflamed hump I was developing on my neck. A large amount of my pain was directly from inflammation in that area.
