I told David and Caroline I am crawling into my introvert cave now for the summer. I intend to hide out here, interacting with people in the in-person world only when absolutely necessary.
All I want to do is read, deep clean my house, cook good food, sleep, walk for exercise, and work on this website. That’s it. I don’t want to go anywhere. I don’t want to get involved with anything. All I want to do is quietly do my things in the peaceful haven that is my home.
This evening I finally took care of the issue I mentioned in The Cozy Life Reset Day 7 – Acknowledge Your Limits. It was difficult to do, but I know it was the right decision. I’ll write more about it someday.
The past year and a half has been a good reminder of how I simply don’t function like other people. This little bit I saw in an INFJ Reddit discussion yesterday was so timely.

I mean I already knew that as is evidenced by the massive amount of content testifying to that here on this website. I hadn’t forgotten it, but I tested the limits of it. In the process, I discovered that those limits still matter, In fact, they might matter even more now at this point in my life.
So I am gratefully crawling into my cave this summer.
